Standards:
OACVB has, as one of its major objectives, to develop and encourage its members to
the highest standards of professional conduct and business
practices within the tourism and hospitality industry.
As part of this goal,
OACVB has agreed to encourage its members to adopt the Destination
Marketing Association International standards and by January 2007 to have 50% of
membership in compliance and by January 2008 to have 100% in compliance.
In addition OACVB is working to assist its member CVBs in becoming accredited
and to have a minimum of 20% accredited by June 30th 2008.
The following link will provide you with the standards which
OACVB members are striving towards.
