highlight important information presented at ESTO.

Director
This session will cover the development of a lobbying
program for DMOs to utilize for state and local officials including: the
election cycle, communicating with candidates, developing candidate surveys,
identifying issues, developing relations with candidate and elected officials
and utilization of the ODMO lobbyist.

“Marketing Idea Roundtable”
The objective of the Marketing Idea Roundtable
is to share innovative techniques or imaginative approaches to promoting your
destination, managing your organization, providing visitor services,
communicating with stakeholders. This roundtable offers a quick way for
attendees to take home numerous ideas. Attendees should come prepared to
share one marketing idea or organizational idea that has worked for you.
Ideas can vary: social media projects, restaurant/culinary promotion,
sustainability efforts, sports marketing, ROI tools, Branding activities,
successful stakeholder ideas, and the list goes on. You will have a few
minutes to share your idea and two peer facilitators will guide the discussion
and capture the comments.
